Am I Frying My Eggs?
So this is how I sit at home when I blog - laptop on my lap. I was pondering if this is frying my eggs, in other words, if having your laptop on your lap has an effect on your reproductive system as it might be for a guy...Oh well, I'll have to start using the coffee table.
Chris got a gameboy (advance...sp) for Christmas and it's his new favorite toy. This is what he's usually doing when I'm blogging or whatever on the computer.
This weekend was pretty low key after new years - I baked a bunch of macaroni and cheese, the baking of which was prompted by my friend having a baby. See I wanted to make something that she and her husband could pop in the oven since they're uber busy with said new baby. Chris' mom's recipe for mac and cheese is enough to clog an artery just by looking at it, but boy is it yummy. I even ate a little despite my stomach's disdain for dairy.
Tracy's baby is adorable, but super fussy so they're stressed out new parents. Hopefully the mac and cheese will bring them some comfort amoung the crying.

Yay for New Year's Day pig-outs! Mac-n-cheese was on the menu at our friends' traditional New Year's Brunch as well, except she made it vegan just for me and the spouse! Awww! (she also made lots o' cheesy goodness for the rest of the crowd as well). Oh, it was so good. I stuffed myself like a big blobopotamus and laid useless on the sofa for about four hours afterwards.
