A Sinsational Monday Morning

Monday. Bleh. Bleh.

Took a picture of myself this morning since I finished this scarf...which might be a gift...

Seed stitch scarf made out of sinsation in a color which I thought was blue, but might be purple.

Last night we went and watched the "big game" and watched our birds lose. So sad. We were at our friend's house and we're all Eagles fans.

But then we came home and watched our Tivo-ed episode of Carnivale. I love, love, love, this season of Carnivale. That show is so creepy and I love it. I thought last night's episode was especially good. I hope Ben Hawkins comes out okay in the end. I'd be sad if Brother Justin kicked his ass or something.

Some really creepy stuff was happening in our neighborhood when I was watching last night too. I feel weird blogging about it but I think we heard someone get hit by a car outside our house. We heard car. We heard something get hit. We heard screaming. We heard someone call the police. We then saw some ambulances and cop cars. I feel bad that we didn't go out and check out what happened, but we live in a really shitty neighborhood - one where it's probably better for you to stay in your house and not get involved. That's why we're moving, b/c shitty stuff happens and since we live here, we have equally shitty reactions to them. We also think we heard a gun shot or explosion or something too before the whole car accident thing. So it's a good thing we're moving outta here. I mean we've been okay so far for us, but we don't want to take any chances living here any longer...

That's a downer huh? See what happens when you write in your blog and you're tired and full of pasta!?

It is so hard to give sinsation projects away... good luck with that.

That is crazy about the thing outside your house- how scary!

I hear ya, lady. I've had my share of living in areas where every time a car backfired you would wonder if you should hit the deck. Good for you for moving soon. It will feel so much better to be comfortable in your own home! xo MJ

OK, Jen, I think we might have the same glasses. Of course, mine are currently collecting dust. They look very nice. Oh & I've been looking all winter for a nice scarf like that at the malls. Wish I had your talent.
