My New Favorite Actor
That's right - Nick Cannon. You loved him in Drumline and now you can love him in the Can't Buy Me Love remake that they're showing on HBO. If he plans on following in the footsteps of Patrick Dempsey, he can look forward to starring in such clutch productions as "About a Boy the TV Series" and "Scream III". Poor Patrick Dempsey. Perhaps you should throw him a bone and order a pizza with extra anchovies.
So I haven't been on line lately - this Friday I worked from home, which turned out to be just as much of a pain as actually going to work. Then last night we went and grabbed some beers with our friends and tonight we're hanging out, watching TV (see above) and I bought a book on Vegas so I can be prepared. Pretty much a mellow weekend...still packing and I leave for Vegas on Wednesday.
I think I have a cold and I've been getting a sore neck so of course I've diagnosed myself with spinal menengitis. I'm sure it'll clear up with a little advil and a beer.

My sister and I were just discussing Patrick Dempsey and Can't Buy Me Love, how funny! I love that movie. Such cheesy goodness. I forgot they were remaking it. I won't see it though since I don't have HBO.
(Did you happen to peruse the trivia bit for Patrick Dempsey on IMDb? It says "At the time of his first marriage, he has 21 and his bride was 48." Woah!

That guy is cute. He was so cocky in Drumline, though, I dislike him. Patrick Dempsey -- now there's a blast from the past. He made an appearance on Will & Grace as Will's sportscasting, closeted boyfriend...
