Tagging Myself It
Okay, so I can't wait for someone to tag me for me to fill out this quiz...I've seen it on many a site including Carrieoke, KnitAMKnit, etc...and even if they haven't "tagged" me, I'm filling the damn thing out anyway...
1. The last movie you went to see in a theater: Sideways. Saw it in the Princeton Garden Theater and there were a bunch of old people talking through the whole thing. But anyway - I loved it. Good movie.
2. The last movie you watched at home:Shaun of the Dead. So funny. I love all the quick cut scenes.
3. How many movies do you own? Approximately 50 movies...51 when I buy Garden State
3a. What was the last movie you bought? Those 50 movies are pretty old. I haven't bought one in a while...but I think the last movie, purchased for Chris, was LOTR - Return of the King.
4. Got Netflix (or a similar service)? Yes - Netflix I love it. Although I feel jipped, because blockbuster is cheaper. Next on the queue is Pirates of the Carribean, and 25th hour...two movies i didn't want to pay money to see, but wanted to see nonetheless.
5. List five movies you adore/mean a lot to you:
Christmas Vacation - I watch this movie ever Christmas at least three times. It's not exactly great cinema, but I love it.
Cinema Paradisio - I always loved this movie since college...I was a radio/tv/film major and I liked it a lot and it'll always remind me of college
Next Stop Wonderland - I like this movie a lot even though I haven't seen it in a while. Best soundtrack ever.
Welcome to the Dollhouse - weiner dog.
Then there's a slew of movies I love that aren't somewhere near favorite, but not quite there - She's the One, MallRats, LOTR trilogy, SouthPark Bigger, longer and uncut, Amelie, Magnolia, etc, etc.
6. Name your guilty pleasure movie (or genre): Any movie aimed at teens - Drumline, What a Girl Wants, Princess Diaries, Wedding Planner, Chasing Liberty, etc.
7. Name 3 people to whom you're going to pass these questions on, and why: Stacy because you want comments and this survey is sure to bring you comments, and because I like your movie reviews, JT, because you have nothing better to do, and thirdly - anyone else who wants to fill it out...

That hurts, man. That really hurts.

I loved Pirates of the Caribbean. Isn't that the one with Johnny Depp? Argh. (That was a pirate noise.)
I really want to see Sideways too.

I love Christmas Vacation and also watch it several times a season. We start with Planes, Trains and Automobiles at Thanksgiving (sometimes CV too) and then move right into the Christmas movie fest with at least one Christmas movie a day till the 25th!
