Vacation - All I Ever Wanted
And I'm back.
All I have to say is that Vegas rocks! I never had any real interest in going there, I always thought that I didn't really like gambling, so why would I go? But it turns out there's so much to do and I had a fantastic time with my friends!
Here I am with Mr. Las Vegas himself:

So I won't bore you with all the details of the trip - well actually I will, but in the extended entry...
We stayed at the lovely Flamingo hotel and casino. All in all this is not a bad hotel. The buffet was actually pretty good. The rooms are big. It's no "W" but it was nice and inexpensive. Plus it has a stop on the Monorail and is really close to the Bellagio.

We did have a homeless guy try to sell us a coffee cake outside of the hotel, but I guess that could happen anywhere. When we said no, he took the coffee cake and waved it in front of his crotch. Hot.
We mostly walked up and down the strip, stopping in casinos to walk around inside. You could seriously do that for days, since there are so many.
Some of my favorite things that I saw:
- Madam Toussaud's (I know these are in other cities, too, but we had a lot of fun taking pictures)
- Paris - I loved this casino, even if it is a bit cheesey. I mean, I'm pretty sure that none of the names of the stores or restaurants were actually french, but I thought it was charming and I would love to stay there
- The Bellagio fountains - they were so beautiful and apparently were in Oceans 11, but I didn't see that

We also rode the monorail a million times. And we got into a cab with a crazy Asian man that had a karaoke microphone and made us sing all the way back to the hotel.
I braved the tables and played both blackjack and roulette. I won and lost and ended up about even.
I didn't get to do many of the things I thought I would - like see the Liberace museum or the Star Trek exhibit in the Hilton, but I had a good time anyway.
Now I'm trying to adjust back to Jersey time and unpack. I hope I get to go back to Vegas soon. I highly recommend it.

Oh Vegas! I need to go visit you! :(
Paris is a beautiful hotel, and they kick ass. They totally upgraded me and Randy even though we were only staying for one night from a regular room to a suite...for NO reason. We had a jacuzzi tub, a refrigerator...and get this, a BIDET! Ha ha!! Oh, and their buffet?! Yummmmm.
Loved the homeless guy crotch story ;)
