Completely Boring to Everyone But Me

dishes.jpg

We registered this weekend. No one told me that registering would be this much fun. It's like crack. I think we registered for too much stuff and people will think we're a******s for asking for such expensive stuff, but you only get married (hopefully) once and I've been to a million showers and purchased gifts so...We tried to register for stuff in a variety of price ranges so people didn't have to break the bank.

Anyway, that's our china pattern up there. I'm sure you're so thrilled. I won't bore you with any more details.

This weekend was pretty good. Friday we had some peeps over for dinner. I made a pork tenderloin, asparagus, and mashed sweet potatoes. Saturday we had a late lunch and walked around town, and Sunday we registered and I taught my friend Lisa how to knit. Other than that we were lazy asses all weekend.

I'm not sure how my knitting lesson went. She was knitting and purling, and doing stockinette and garter stitch by the time she left. She should be able to make a nice novelty scarf now.

Thanks for all your comments on the last post too. Chris was making gagging noises at you guys saying I'm cute. He's just jealous. Just for that I'm gonna post more cute pictures of me on here from now on.

His comment was funny... he was like, ahem, she's taken.

Love the china! It's classic, baby.

When I registered, Amy constantly yelled at me. First, because I took the register gun and was dive rolling around the store, scanning shit and humming Mission Impossible. Then, we went to Target (yup, we're poor) and I scanned like 50 boxes of condoms. Registering was fun for me... I think she hated it.

Where did you guys register? We went to Crate and Barrel but want to go somewhere a little less chi-chi next.

Very pretty china!

I plan on registering for my 35th birthday...Carrie Bradshaw made a friend of hers buy her a I'm Single gift. It's only fair after all the gifts I've purchased for friends over the years...showers, weddings, babies, etc., etc. Pottery Barn, here I come...

When we picked out or pattern we went with ivory and gold. I hate it. Now we have serving for 10 plus serving dishes we never use because we can't stand to look at it. I like your a lot. Classic sliver (or white gold, or platninum, can't tell) and white. classic.
