Couches with cushions, and chairs good for sitting

Drawers of spices, Baskets full of knitting,
Sleeping on mattresses made out of springs,
These are a few of my favorite things...

Ah - and the move is complete and we have furniture! Yay! I'm so excited.

We had a few friends stay with us over the weekend. Our friend Shawn and his wife Amy came down to stay with us while they visited with friends and family in the area. And JT came down as well. He recently moved to New York, out of no where, for a job, so he stayed over to help with the move.

Here's JT and Chris involved in their favorite form of male bonding - the XBox. That's the night before the big move, when I also took this picture of my sweater:

It's so close to done. As soon as I get some free time, I'll be done! I'm planning on finishing it before the next knitting meetup.

So anyway - the move went well, taking approximately 1hour 30minutes from load up to load out. Then Chris went to return the truck and got stuck in the Trenton St. Patrick's day parade. A slight detour.

I stayed at the new place and hung out with Chris' family and watched his niece pull everything she could get her hands on out of boxes. Good thing she's so cute!

Anyway - I'm a little scattered today. I wanted to post this picture of what we had for dinner tonight, a la Big Dubb.

It's garlic shrimp, bulgar wheat risotto and roasted asparagus. (for you weight watchers, this dinner totaled somewhere around 7 points Note that this is Chris' plate. My plate only had 5 shrimp - hence the 7 points) The recipe for the shrimp and asparagus came out of this month's Cooking Llight. The shrimp was really good. The bulgar wheat risotto left much to be desired. Would've been much better to have the same ingredients in orzo instead. I love to cook, and with my shorter commute to and from work, I really get to cook more. So you'll get to see pictures more. I may even start a food blog.

And last but not least, and not for the weak of heart. I found this picture on our camera. This is what happens when you leave your friends alone in your house. Click at your own risk. Brings a new meaning to that Arsenal scarf.

I don't know if you intended on using orzo or not, but a true risotto used arborio rice. It is way simple to make and way yummy. I don't know if my recipe would facilitate a good WW meal, as I always use heavy cream and parmigianno regianno and sweet cream butter. Fat high, taste respectively high.

Your meal looks fab, I love shrimpfs.

I love Cooking Light. I have a subscription but never actually end up cooking anything!

IF THE SCARF DON'T FIT... YOU MUST AQUIT! Unless it's crusty, then I guess the guilt is sealed.
