Damn you cable company

Our cable/internet has been spotty at the new place lately, so I meant to reply to all your comments last night, but it had to wait til this mornning. And I haven't been able to read your blogs except here and there when I can steal five minutes at work. Damn cable.

Last night I did check out the grocery store I will be shopping at in my new neighborhood. The verdict - pretty decent. The whole store is being run by rock-and-roll teenagers. I think that's awesome. But I was thinking that when they look at me they probably see someone who falls in the same "adult" category as their parents. Because let's face it, 27 is OLD to a 16-year-old. I was thinking "hey man it was only a few years ago (okay almost 10) that I was in high school cutting school and hanging out and being a rebel. But alas they probably think I'm in a knitting group with thier mom. And I probably am! Ha!

So I didn't get to tell you- but last wednesday I was seeing our friend Rob play at this cool cafe in Morristown, and there was a knitting group there! I was like - NO WAY! What an awesome place to have the knitting group - listening to bands! I may have to get a stamping group together :)

I forget that I'm OLD to high schoolers now too. My twin sis teachers high school and when I stop by and see her I feel like an old lady. Probably because they call me "Miss Coker" ... too weird.

oh man I totally feel your pain. I went to wedding this weekend and 90% of the "kids" at my table were still in high school. I felt SO old (I'm 26)
