April Showers
While I am ecstatic about the arrival of spring and daylight savings time, the one bad thing is that the river flooded yesterday. We live far enough away from the river that we weren't affected. But I feel bad for everyone that was. This news station has great video of the river.
Our wedding reception place did get flooded. It looked on the news like it didn't flood all the way up to the ballroom, but the lower level did get some water. Let's hope they dry out by September.
Anyway - I'm celebrating the arrival of spring because I was SO over winter. We decided on our honeymoon spot - California Wine Country, with maybe a side trip to San Francisco, depending on how much time we have off for the honeymoon. I'm super excited.

Ohhhh....I hope your reception site isn't too badly damaged. I saw that your area was flooded - it's a top story on AOL.com. Don't forget your life preserver! Oh, and can I go with on your honeymoon?! Ha!

Up in grand forks ND and e. Grand Forks MN, there was a huge flood like 6 years ago. It has been the third time in like 100 years this place has been demolished by water.
Almost everyone rebuilt. I would have moved. you cant flirt with mother nature.
