The Latest Blogging Phenomenon - The Interview

The latest blogging trend? The interview. Ok - Here's an interview from Stacy to me.

If you want me to ask you five insightful questions as well so you can blog about them - just leave the request in my comments and I'll interview you - then you interview someone else, etc. etc.

#1 How are wedding plans going? Any major stressors? Have you decided on a first dance song? Are you going on a honeymoon?Where??

Whoa, whoa, whoa - those are technically 4 questions! But that's fine. The wedding plans are going fine. I'm starting to have minor panic attacks before bed thinking that there's no way we're all going to fit in the lobby of the Inn we're getting married in for the cocktail hour, where will we get pictures taken if it rains, etc. No real major stressors, just a bunch of really tiny ones. I feel like I mostly have it under control - but as the date approaches I am freaking out, just a little. We have decided on a first dance song, but I have mixed emotions about reavealing it on here - I feel like it's a jinx to publish it to the world - but maybe i'll email you and tell you what it is. We are going on a honeymoon and I tried to do a separate post about it, but it vaporized into thin air! But we're going to Napa Valley and San Francisco. Also apparently I am very secretive about the wedding and some of my family wants to know what the hell is going on...so there may be more updates.

#2 What fast food meal could you consume every day based soley on flavor?

I could probably eat spicy tuna rolls every day or shrimp tempura rolls, but they're not really fast food. Food that you get from a drive through...well I could probably eat mcdonalds french fries a lot, or taco bell 7-layer burritos. Which is why I'm not allowed to go to these placed. Also at Geno's Steak's cheesefries. MMMMMMM. Or is it Pat's? Hmmm.

(Learn more about the Pat's vs. Geno's Philly arguement here)

#3 What is the most irrational purchase you have ever made?

Similarly, mine would be my $500 elliptical machine. Chris gets more use out of it than me. I really don't buy a lot of expensive stuff. I once had to buy suits for work and I spent $400 at Anne Taylor and I almost threw up on my receipts.

#4 The blog question: Who's blog do I always check first?

I cannot rank the bloggers. I try to go through my complete bloggers list in order (see at right) but I do tend to skip ahead to yours, Dan's, Carrioke's, and KnitAMKnit's first. And I'm not just saying that b/c you're the one that asked me.

#5 What is the one thing about you that you would consider to be the most humbling.

I need clarification on this question. But I guess what causes me to be humble are two main things and they both have to do with work. One is when I screw up. If I get called out on something at work, I fall right off my high horse. Also when I think of how my parents worked their jobs for years without really complaining to us kids about it, that's humbling too. I mean my dad complained, but he went to work every day at 4:30 am to a crappy job that he hated - and that humbles me when I start to complain about work.

Okay - that's it! If you want to be interviewed - let me know in the comments.

You are one busy gal (I almost said lady, but then that would be aging myself too since we're both 27 --- we're young, dammit!!). I laughed when you said you almost threw up on your receipts. I really need to go shopping bad. I'm in the "I hate my whole closet" stage.
