Poop
I always get sucked into helping with the office work party. Secretly I love it. If I could plan parties for a living I would. Who wouldn't I guess?
Anyway - someone at work is having a baby and I was in charge of her gift, so I made a diaper cake.
Right - if you're not a breeder, or don't know too many breeders, then you don't know what a diaper cake is. Basically you roll up a bunch of diapers and make it look like a tiered cake. Then you tie the thing together with bows and stuff gifts in it.

So on Monday morning I went downstairs to start my car..."Click, Click..." Battery is dead. The past two days have been one fiasco after another. Jump the car - car runs - stop the car - try to start the car - battery is dead. Rinse repeat. I took the car to a place to get fixed today and lo and behold my battery is too complicated for them to replace. That's right. Too complicated. It's still there. Tomorrow I have to pick it up from the one car place and drive it over to another - probably jumping it in between. Rock and roll.
I went to weight watchers today and I gained .4 lbs. A minor set back, I know - but disappointing none the less.
All this is adding up to a bad attitude on my part, hence the lack of blogging. Hopefully I will be my normal chipper self soon enough!

You are kidding. Isn't it their job to fix complicated batteries? How complicated could it be? :( I'm sorry for the pain. I thought the diaper cake would include something edible. As disgusted as I was by the thought of eating something diapery, it was a little more exciting than the real thing. Which contains no calories. Oh well.

I wish I knew someone talented enough to have given me a diaper cake that is so cute
I did get a baby sock corsage (is that seriously how you spell corsage?)though.
you are so tiny four pounds wouldin't do any damage don't worry about it.I am hoping I don't gain from my excessive consumption of berry sour certs...I have had like 120 this week...they are no calories but consumed in bulk quanities I am not so sure.

WORRY NOT re the 0.4 pounds. You will lose them super fast. They are probably not even real. Have a better rest of the week!

How in the heck did you make that? It looks really cool. I have a baby shower to attend this weekend and am frantically finishing up the piles of knitted baby items laying all over my living room. I am very impressed by your diaper-cakey skills.
