Triple Thumbs Up
This weekend I did indeed see War of the Worlds and it was really really good! If you haven't seen it yet, I won't spoil anything for you by saying more - except that it did make me jump at parts and that I could put away my ill will towards Tom Cruise long enough to watch it.
I also finished reading Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner. I love all her books. It's the story of three women who just gave birth to their first child. Very good.
And in one extended lazy Sunday I read the newest Harry Potter book! It was so, so good! I am such a dork and love this series.
I love sitting around on a weekend and reading an entire book. If left to my own devices, I might read non-stop. Unfortunately this leaves no time for knitting. So I got no knitting done, but it was worth the luxury of an entire day of getting lost in books!
Oh and Chris is going to fix my templates and he says I'm not allowed to try and "fix" anything on the website anymore. Probably a good idea.

HP=SO. GOOD. I am happy to know I was not the only person who sat on her ass for several hours to read this book. The end though? What up with THAT??? I am reallllly hating that it is going to be a long time before we get the next book.
I have no comment on WotW, other than I am now having traumatic flashbacks and am going to hide under my desk.

I was only halfway smitten with WotW. The first half was exciting. The last half was frustrating. The end was disappointing.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was good, tho.

I thought war of the worlds was great. The effects were flawless and the young girl was surprisingly un-annoying for a child actor. And I have no more ill-will at tom cruise. Ever since he started losing his mind He's become a much better interview. http://mirror.randomfoo.net/memes/2005/06/Tom_Cruise_Kills_Oprah.mov

I also am tramatized by *the new tom cruise* I think that is why I have not seen this yet.I opted to see wedding crashers instead of charlie,I have been dying to see to see charlie and the choclate factory for months but I was in a wedding crashers silly mood.It was pretty good.Little eartquakes looks really cute I might have to go get it.I have been checking out tons of non fiction lately and am due for a cute quick read.I bought the first two harry potters when they came out and never read them.I always think I should though.

I think I am the only one in blogland who is NOT reading HP. I haven't read any of them. Or seen the movies. I know, I know, "they're soooo good!" Maybe one day I'll get around to them.
And I saw Little Earthquakes at Borders recently. Thought it looked good. I may heva to add that to my list...

I haven't read any HP books or watched any of the movies either. I'll get to them some day, but I have way too many books that need to be read first.
