10:15 On a Saturday Night...
And the tap goes drip drip drip drip drip drip
Okay, so it's acutally 11:20 on a SUNDAY night - but if you get the reference, then holla! You totally get me.
So today at the farm I picked a black sunflower for me and one for Heather. Both of which quickly wilted in the hot car on the way home. When I got home I cut the stem, trimmed the leaves and put it in fresh water. It stayed wilted, so I put it facing a sunny window and forgot about it. Just a few minutes ago I walked by and it looks like this (except in the dark before I turned the light on):

Notice it's no longer wilted AND no longer FACING THE WINDOW. The flower turned itself around. FREAKY! Sometimes plants totally bug me out.
This weekend has been a mellow one - time to catch up on the final wedding details. More in the extended entry if you can stomach it.
Okay so here's a picture of some of my work this weekend. I made a ring bearer's pillow and flower girl basket. Both of which don't make me wanna puke - unlike the premade ones in the craft store. Yay.

Complete with fake rings.
Here is the halo for Jessica - all done:

Weird shot of my arm.
And the table number picture frames I was talking about:
In "Metallic Champagne," "Metallic Copper," and "Antique Gold"
Oh so many crafts. We also worked on the seating chart - which is a fiasco b/c we haven't heard back from everyone yet - so there's some mystery to it. Chris also got fitted for his tux, as did my dad who, while trying on his jacket, asked my sister if the tux came with a stick...You know, to fight off the ladies.
By the way I know I should be putting this on my wedding blog - and I was going to - but Wordpress is totally bugging out on me and won't let me publish anything. Bizarre.

Wow, will you make my ring bearer pillow & flower girl basket someday if I ever get married? You're amazing.
And that flower is freaking me out! I'm thinking it's possessed.
