Skinny Jeans Friday
I loved Sex and the City when it was on. I plan on watching all the DVDs some day when I have more time. I missed a bunch of episodes in the first few seasons but was a faithful viewer for seasons 4 - 6. Do you remember the episode where Miranda gets into her "No Excuses" skinny jeans? Well, today I got into some skinny jeans that have been in the back of the closet for a while. A combination of half-assedly following weight watchers and stress from my upcoming nuptuals has helped me get into them. Really into them. No roll of fat bulging over the top - no sucking it in to button them. No pain when I sit. This will forever be known as skinny jean Friday.
Of course, there are degrees of skinny jeans. In my closet there are three stacks: Fat jeans, Regular jeans, Skinny jeans - oh wait - four stacks - and There's-No-Way-I'll-Ever-Wear-Those-Again jeans. I'm about 99% sure every woman has these same piles.
I am also 99% sure this is a woman-only thing. I told Chris that I had my skinny jeans on today and I don't think he quite understood the importance of it. Men don't have skinny jeans. That doesn't seem fair...

this show lost so much steam the last 2 seasons or so. if you watch the early ones on tnt or tbs..theyre great..then samantha got hag looking, and every episode was the same..samantha was a whore, redhead was confused idiot, sarah jessica parker (who is nasty looking) was writing the same stuff every week, and the hot one was as waspy and prudish as ever. nothing new happened. every episode was the same. not many laughs even. shows have a certain cycle before they get old. friends jumped the shark about the time monica and chandler hooked up. sex and the city was sometime around aiden. seinfeld was about season 8.
enjoy your skinny jeans :) i only have 2 pairs of jeans..cool ones that fit really well, and cool ones that are a bit faded and less "sexy"

Good for you with the skinny jeans acomplishment. Of course, this means I'll have to hate you. But it's only out of sheer jealousy, if that makes you feel any better. Yeah, probably not. (You know I don't *really* hate you.)

I am with Kiddo78; My partner and I have tons of jeans we cannot wear anymore, because after getting into a relationship, I have become "comfortable"; which is just another way to say fat.
