Breaking News: Pocky now available for men!
How happy are you that my honeymoon/wedding posts are over??

So I forgot to mention about San Francisco - We bought Pocky in Japantown. I got a real kick that there is now "Men's Pocky." We tried them both and they taste exactly the same.
In knitting news: I made a london beanie for Chris but it turned out too small for his head so I guess I have a new winter hat:

I really like this pattern. It's so fast! But if you're making it for your boy, make sure to make it a little longer than the pattern says or else it's too small.
In other news...I took an actual Pilates class last night. Let me just give you a word of warning here - Mari Winsor Pilates tapes WILL NOT prepare you for an actual pilates class. That's right - no matter how many times you do the "advanced burn" or the "Fat burning" tapes - you will not be able to complete a real live class.
I told the instructor that I was a beginner even though I've been doing the tapes for a while. Good thing, because she kicked my ass (Did I mention she had to have been twice my age?). I have no idea how those other women did all the moves! I am going back because I am determined to get better at it. Oh my god. It had to have been the hardest class I've ever taken! I wish you all could've seen me struggling to do a sit up by the middle of the class. It was like I was telling my body to move but it was refusing to obey me! Luckily I'm not too sore today.

Good lord! Don't scare me! I'm trying to get into more yoga and pilates over the winter. Funny you mention Winsor Pilates though. I gave all those dvds to my aunt!

Pilates scares me...it's only one letter away from being "pirates".
PS I enjoyed the wedding and honeymoon posts
PPS Cute hat!

I *love* Pocky! We used to use it as our drink stirrers in college. But I always ate mine to fast & had to stir my drink with my finger.

Finally a pocky that I can enjoy.
For some reason they sell Pocky in the Anime DVD section at Suncoast Pictures in Minnesota. But that was just the old regular woman's pocky apparently.

What's Pocky??

I can't even begin to guess why they feel the need to make a "mens" version of pocky.
And I don't believe you really got married now. I see no ring on that finger in the picture.... ;)
