You Can Walk MY Line!

walktheline02.jpg

First, I have to ask. Is anyone else so excited at the idea of Juaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash? Is it just me? I love my husband. Really I do. But I have a few celebrity/movie/TV crushes. One is spiderman. Not Toby Maguire, but spiderman. Like if actual spiderman came and wanted to ask me out, could Chris really argue with him? I mean he's FREAKING SPIDERMAN. Well anyway - my point is that Juaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash is my new movie boyfriend. Though I do like Johnny Cash's music, neither he nor Juaquim Phoenix are appealing to me individually, but the combination is intriguing. Oh, and I love Reese Witherspoon. I am so seeing this movie.

Anyway - enough about that.

So I had an alternate costume for work today. I was "Super Jen."

Chris made the logo for me and I ironed it onto a shirt. I also had a cape and a tiara.

We had a work party and everyone dressed up. I'm in a sugar coma. Here is a list of what I ate today. This is not for the faint of heart:

  • Nutragrain waffles (normal) and coffee (normal)
  • Sugar cookie
  • Tomato soup and slice of pizza (Worse lunch than usual)
  • Brownie (I made them with a small snickers bar inside.)
  • Mini Payday Candy Bar
  • Cut apples with caramel
  • Cider
  • Mallowmar
  • chips
  • Dinner - Potato florentine soup and bacon and spinach quiche
  • "Inside Out" Reeses Peanut butter cup
  • Another mini brownie

I should effectively weigh 300 lbs right now. Seriously. How did I consume so much junk in one day and why am I sharing it with the internet? Because I hope my shame will shock me into eating normally until Thanksgiving where I will consume my weight in Turkey and gravy.

Whew. I need another mini chocolate bar.

I'll fight you for him. I had a super big crush on his brother river, but leaf (as he was formerly known) has seriously turned into a big lot of delicious man meat!!! Ha! It's kind of embarassing I said that! Love Johnny Cash, Love J.Phoenix, Love Reese witherspoon! Am so going to see that movie too.

Wow, that's actually not bad. I can do way more sugar in an hour than you did all of today (not saying that I do, but I do have a sweet tooth). And speaking of paydays.. I just ate an entire bar about 20 minutes before I read this. hee hee..

I love my husband too... but I have a lot of movie and tv boyfriends (and even some girlfriends!) I will rent any movie with that person in it, even if it is terrible awful no good very bad. One of my major movie crushes: Jake Gylenhaal... even so much that I am looking forward to seeing him play a gay cowboy in "Brokeback Mountain". (he is with Heath Ledger in it... at least it is good "gay" taste!) :)

I'm so looking forward to the Johnny Cash movie, too! Um, there were not enough little trick-or-treaters so we now have so much candy left! And I started pilfering from the candy bowl last week!!! Quality control, you know...wouldn't want kids to get bad candy and then egg our house! ;-p

Me. Need. Candy. I haven't had barely ANY Halloween candy. Reese's Pieces. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

And he TOTALLY looks hottie hot hot in the previews for that movie. Yummy.

Super Jen is so cute!

I saw a preview for Walk The Line last week and have been telling everyone about it since. It looks soooo good. I am intruiged by Joaquin Phoenix...loved his part in "The Village" and how he kept coming in at the last mintute to rescue the girl *sigh* So hot.

And you KNOW I'm with Lolly on her celebrity crush. Mmmmm....Jake. Hot gay cowboy action. I am ALL over that.

Mmmn. Reese's cups.
Even more Mmmn. Mr. Phoenix. I have loved him forever. You can have Toby McGuire. But lay off the Lip, he's mine.

I do believe that Kat said the words, "man meat." Holy crap that is too funny.

I definitely want to see that movie too!

Oh- and we got your super cute card! It over on my fireplace and makes Casey and I happy. hehe :)

So clever! Great idea...very original.

I'm with you on the sugar consumption on Halloween. Someone in my office brought in Munchkins, which were, unfortunately, positioned RIGHT NEXT TO my desk. Then my husband brought me Halloween cupcakes that night. Ugh.

Someday when I'm teaching music full-time, I know what my costume will be. The second note of a major scale is sometimes called the "supertonic" - so that's what I shall be! A caped crusader with a logo on my chest that shows the second note of the scale. SuperTonic!!

Wow, I just outed myself as a major geek... :)

i'm mixed on joaquin -- since seeing "to die for," he's kinda creeped me out. i like the super jen costume -- guess "sexy virgin mary" wouldn't be work appropriate.

joaquin phoenix...He is on my list of top 5 favorites you know...right after my Mark Ruffalo...We would so be friends in real life you know...between your halloween costume humor and love of mark and joaquin we would be b/f/f:)

I just wanted to say that Juaquin Phoenix is one of my favorite actors of all time. He is extremely talented and what I respect most about him is his want and need of privacy. He's a very modest man. I remember his brother, River Phoenix back in the '80's, who left this world too soon. The movie,"Walk The Line" was so great and Juaquin acted the part of Johnny Cash so perfectly. He looked so much like the Country Idol. I loved the movie and I love Juaquin. He's an extremely talented actor.
