Before the Snot Came

There was Thanksgiving - Which brought bountiful leftovers:

And a pair of mittens was knit to keep my hands warm:

And then gifts were given to me for my birthday!

Look at all the knitting books Chris got me! And Scrubs on DVD! Yay! And JT got me the Freaks and Geeks DVDs. Oh how I love that show. I also got some gift certificates, a purse, a subscription to a magazine, and some China. Oh yea.

For my birthday we went to the Melting Pot in Chestnut Hill and ate some yummy fondue. The snot had snuck in but I tried to ignore it while we dined on wonderful fondue! Mmm - cheesey goodness. Have you been to this place (there's many)? It's wonderful if you don't mind being served a lovely plate of raw meat that you cook yourself.

The snot is still here and I'm working long hours so I'm behind on reading all your blogs! And I joined the Jaywalkalong but I haven't gotten my needles in the mail yet, so I can't even start. Uh, yeah. Maybe not the best time to join anykind of along. Unless it's a snotalong. Or a workalong. Because I've got plenty of both.

We have a Melting Pot here, but I have never been. I didn't realize that you have to cook the meat yourself. I would love the chocolate part! Glad you had a good birthday!

Get well soon!

And how I miss Freaks & Geeks. Happy birthday again! Get well soon.

OK. Take all of your gifts and pack them in a box. Address it to me and get your butt over to the post office. Ok...well, maybe you can leave out the poncho book, but I want everything else.
