Delicious
First off, here's a real picture of Chris and I from the holiday party. You can tell now, how accurate of an artist I am. I think I'm going to get a job as a sketch artist for the police.
But this is what I'm really thinking about:
You are delicious!
Thanksgiving.
I remember this time last year some people blogging about how they don't like it. But it is my favorite holiday and sign of my birthday coming up soon (on Saturday). We're having it at our house again this year. Year two of my hosting it. Here is my menu so far:
- Various appetizers such as crab spread (Chris's mom is making it), cheese and crackers, spinach dip, and pickles and olives
- A first course of green salad and butternut squash soup
- Turkey and ham, made by my mom
- A cornicopia of side dishes: green bean casserole (my fav), sweet potatoes w/the mini marshmallows, corn pudding, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pineapple casserole (recipe courtesy of my friend Heather), cranberry sauce, and rolls and butter
- Desserts provided by my mother in law.
So we've been cleaning in preparation and finished painting another wall and I made some throw pillows last night. I'll have to post a picture of those since they are quite crafty. Now tonight I will brave the grocery store. I'm starving just thinking about it all!

So, tell me more about this pineapple casserole. I am intrigued, and looking for another side dish to add to my menu.
Have fun at the grocery store, you brave, brave woman!
Oh and the drawings? You need to get them to a gallery, stat. People are gonna be ALL OVER those. ;)
HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY!

Yay Thanksgiving! It's my very favorite holiday (none of that post-gift-opening-letdown that inevitably comes with Christmas). Urg, I forgot to pick up the ingredients for green bean casserole, so I'm going to be braving the grocery store at lunch today.

You look so shiny and fancy at the party. And the picture is kinda blurry like whenever Elizabeth Taylor is on the telly. Is she still alive?
Anyway, happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!

You live in Bucks County? Wow. Small world. Pins and Needles is nice, and has an AWESOME Indian place across the street, but I like Glenmarle, and parking is better.

Yeah, I really hate thanksgiving. I can't help it. It's the worst sunday feeling ever. But it does signal the beginning of the Christmas music season, so it's not all bad.
