My weekend: A Picture Essay by Me

swift.jpg
Friday my swift came. Hells Yes.

I wound up my Knit Picks alpaca cloud peppermint yarn!

And I also wound some recycled sari yarn from my secret pal 5 pal.

Okay so that's actually the only pictures I have. We had a good weekend and painted two walls in our apartment, which I will take pictures of when we get the furniture back in place. The color is called peanut butter. It makes me want to lick the walls.

Tonight we watched Cold Mountain on HBO and all I have to say is that Jude Law walked a long way and went through a lot of crap just to bang Nicole Kidman. Seriously.

Now for an update of things.

Things I've been reading:

Things I've been watching:

  • My Life Without Me

  • Cold Mountain

  • Gotham Fish Tails

That was random.

I liked Cold Mountain, but you're right, that's an awful long way to walk home. Ahhhh, love. I actually used to live down the street from that big crater in the opening scene.

I tried to watch Sin City this weekend, but I don't do so well with the gore and JESUS that movie was GORY. Lord. So I watched Alias instead. YUM.

I heart your swift.

I loved that book the Curious Incident!

Also, Isn't have a swift AND a ball winder the most kick-ass!?

hahahahaha I have not seen Cold Mountain yet, but your comment almost made me laugh out loud. Maybe I need to see this to see what he endured. OH, and I'm glad you finally got your swift!

I had never heard of the movie "My Life Without Me" till recently when I watched it, but now I can't get away from it! It's popping up everywhere!

Yay on the swift! I am SOOOOOO buying one when I get my promotion and pay increase.

I read a LOT. Have you read "A Million Little Pieces"? If not. Get it today. It's awesome. I just started reading "The Five People You Meet In Heaven." "Lovely Bones" is good too. Want more? I used to be a high school English teacher....I could go on!
