Yes, I Studied Film in College!
Yet I still loved Monster in Law.
Oh yes, this Jane Fonda/Jennifer Lopez Vehicle won my affection.
I really liked it. I mean it was light, like angel food cake, and just as sickly sweet, but it was fun to watch Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda get in a slap fight. Chris hates Jennifer Lopez, but I love her hair and outfits in moves. And Jane Fonda looks awesome. She played a bitch really well.
Oh and of course, everyone's favorite Alias crush, Michael Vartan was in it:
I am lucky enough to get along very well with Chris's whole family, including my mother in law. But they're all really laid back so there's nothing for us to really disagree on. I like to think I am their favorite sister/daughter-in-law. RIGHT??
I was engaged before Chris and I started dating. And if that marriage had happened, my relationship with my mother-in-law would've looked a lot like this movie. Right down to the slap fight. But she would've won. She's bigger than me. (No offense to those related to her.)

I won't tell you how many times I have been engaged, ahem, however, I don't think there would have been any slap fights with the potential mom's in law. Ok, wait...I take that back. Maybe in one case.
You know what though? I need to see this movie now. The Vartan factor is what decided it for me.
