O' Christmas Tree
Chris and I put our tree up on Tuesday night. I love Christmas. Can I just tell you I LOVE IT. And I love putting up our tree. I was am still sick and I worked til 8pm that night, but I insisted on putting it up.
We bought a fake tree last year. I know, people hate fake trees, but I don't mind them so much. And this one is pre-lit and perfect and was on sale.
When we first got a tree for our house, about 3 or 4 years ago, Chris's mom gifted us with a lot of ornaments. Since them we've received others as gifts and bought some of our own. I love putting them up and thinking about who gave them to us and how we got them.

Since the first Star Wars ornament was issued at Hallmark in 1996, Chris's mom started buying them for him. We only have the ones from the first movies, not the newer ones. Some light up, some talk. It's very festive. Someday they will get their own special tree, but so far they've been on our tree every year.

I'm jealous that your tree is up, it's beautiful. We've done fake trees every now and then, the only problem is I get the cheap-o ones at the drug store for like $20 and they always look like crap. Some day I want to get a nice fake one like yours (plus then you can leave it up 'til new years and not worry about a fire). I don't know what we'll do this year...

You tree is beautiful. Looking at it has helped get me in the spirit. It doesn't seem like it should be December. Wasn't Halloween just last week? Sunday I will put up my vintage 6 foot silver aluminum tree!

How pretty! We haven't had the chance to put ours up yet - it is sometimes a hassle getting out for only two people, but once it is up and lit, it is worth it! ;)

Beautiful tree. I like that it's tall, not wide. Yoda is pretty sweet.
