Knitting Location Meme
So Scout tagged me to do this meme where I show you where I knit!
Here is my livingroom. You've seen it before. I usually sit on either couch and knit. Please ignore the mess on the coffee table. You can see that the computer is very close by. There are plants for ambiance and a lovely Target lamp for lighting. The TV is on the opposite wall from the longer couch, so I can watch episodes of Lost on DVD wide-eyed while knitting. You can't see my knitting basket on the floor, but it's there. The phone is also on the same table as the lamp. Sometimes Chris is with me on the couch or he's on the opposite couch. This picture could also be described as:
1.) Where I eat dinner (Yes, I have a dining room table, but we've succombed to eating in front of the television. When we have kids we'll eat at the table like civilized folks)
2.) Where Chris plays video games
3.) Where I watch the Food Network on Saturday and Sunday mornings
4.) Where I spend the most time in my house besides bed
5.) Where I sit and gaze at the christmas tree
6.) Where I sit for five minutes in the morning staring blankly into space and zoning out before work.
7.) Where I read your blogs and where I write in mine.

I love it! Thanks for playing. That coffee table is great too. I'm big into baskets that hide lots of shit since I have kids and they have lots of shit to be hidden!

Looks cozy.
My five minute morning zoning out time is spent on a chair in the kitchen. It's painful. I hate it. That's why I do it in the kitchen. Because I never want to associate those horrible five minutes of tired pre-work malaise with my comfy living room.

How funny is it that everyone is commenting on your coffee table. I was going to ask you if it was fom IKEA (cause I want one that looks like that from there) but do you even have IKEA out there? You do, don't you?
