Knitting Block and Other Types of Block
I am having trouble choosing my next knitting project. A poncho? A cardigan? My only rule for my next project is that it has to be able to be made from my stash. You'd think this would be easy, but it's not considering that during the beginning of my knitting career, I only bought two skeins of everything I liked. So basically I can make scarves, or a technicolor coat of dreams.
I also have a little blogblock right now since there's not too much interesting going on. My brain is on winter haitus while I wake up, go to the gym, work, sleep, rinse, repeat. Some interesting tidbits for you:
1.) I bought three pieces of clothing at Target that cost less than $10 each and I've worn them to work. Is it a fashion no no to wear clothes from the clearance rack at target?

2.) I moved desks at work and now I can see out the window and stare all day.
3.) I baked delicious cheesecake squares
4.) I love this oatmeal.
5.) I officially need something more interesting to blog about!

How would anyone know unless you told them? I think it's totally fine! =) Does the picture of Heidi mean you're a fellow Project Runway watcher?

I say, not a fashion no-no if the pieces are nice. Will have to try that oatmeal.
You could make legwarmers. They look cute if you wear them under your jeans. It's next on my project list.

I heart the clearance rack at Target. It makes up my entire wardrobe.
You could make a hat. or a stripey sweater?

Screw Heidi! I just scored big time at the clearance rack at Kohls. In fact I'm kicking my self for not getting more!

Without the clearance rack at Target, I would have about... 2 things to wear (and those I got at the thrift shop!) hehe
I love that you blogged about that oatmeal. I just enjoyed the Banana Bread flavor this morn. It is so good!! ;)

I say make the bag I just made or Cherry Garcia!

Clearance racks ROCK. The real rule with Target clearance "garments" is to be aware of their shorter lifespan and get rid of them when they start to look worth less than $10.
What about a funky tank with more than one yarn type? Or wristwarmers? I really want to make the vine-cabled waiting-for-spring ones from Stitch n' Bitch Nation, personally.

I like that oatmeal, but let me tell you about Kashi very vanilla. If you like seedy chunks of stuff in your cereal you would so love it.

My most favorite sweater ever came from the Target clearance rack and was THREE DOLLARS. You can't beat that. Nothing wroing with Target, clearance, or a combo of both.
I hope you break the knitting block! Don't beat yourself up about it...just let it go, and in a few days you will get the burning desire to knit, knit, knit.

Ha - I just bought *six* sweaters from the Target clearance rack - my first Target clothing purchase ever, outside of pajamas. And every day this week I've worn one to work and received tons of compliments! I love it when my fashionista coworkers gush over my new sweaters and ask where I bought them.
