Thank You Mr. Easter Bunny
If you read this blog you probably think I'm sick a lot. It certainly seems that way. I have a sinus infection that knocked me out for the past few days. But the doctor gave me some miracle drug that will hopefully have me bright eyed and bushy tailed again soon enough.
Before the snot, I managed to knit a hat for my friend Mary-Frances's baby. She's a cutie and will look cute in this someday.

The pattern is a mix of the little devil pattern and the bunny hat pattern from Stitch and Bitch Nation. It's too big for the baby's head. I can tell you that right now. But it's cute none-the-less. That sweater I knitted a while back and never gifted. It matched the hat so well I thought I'd send them as a set!
Speaking of Easter, I've always had a slight obsession with Cadbury Creme Eggs. I can't eat them. They're too sweet. But I want to eat one every Easter. So I usually buy one for someone I know and make them eat it infront of me. Is that weird? I also like the commercials they used to have where the bunny would be bak-bak-baking. Remember those?

i loved that commercial! and i have a similar thing about the cream eggs. i love how peculiar it is to seemingly have the yoke inside the chocolate, but one bite and i'm out. definitely too sweet and an odd consistency.

Hi from Austria! Oh, that baby hat and the matching sweater are sooo cute, I fell in love with them when I saw the pic and I'm sure the recipient will wear it with pride! :)
LOL - I had a great smile when I read how you handle things with the Cadbury eggs - but hey, such a fantastic idea, you get - almost - the joy of eating them while not gaining any weight!

That sweater set is SO cute. Maybe if it's too big for the baby's head, they can cut eye holes in it and the baby can wear it like Rudy on the Fat Albert Show.
Hope you feel better, sicky.

i loved the cadbury bunnychicken! i can't eat them, either - to be honest, i find them slightly gross - there's something about a candy with a YOLK that just grosses me out. i do love love love the cadbury mini eggs, though. i always buy the first package i see in the spring.

So adorable!
I feel the same way about those eggs- they are so appealing but I cannot eat them either. I can have a bite before I give it to Casey. ;)
The cadbury mini eggs are a totally different story though!

I didn't realize until just now that, despite having consumed several Cadbury eggs, my spring has not been graced with the bunny chicken.....how sad! I feel like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin.
