Proof
I have been crazy busy lately and I have proof.
We have been packing things so that we can move into our house:
That was once my livingroom.
And these containers on the left (the two bins) may have yarn in them. It's humbling to pack your stash.
And this is the house we're moving in to. I haven't posted it because it was so far away from the settlement date. But now that we're in the home stretch (only a few days away - we close on the 31st), I am posting it.
And here is proof that I can follow directions. My gauge swatches:
I got the correct gauge on smaller needles. Woot.
And I can follow directions on how to wind microfiber ribbon using a sideways swift and a paper towel roll on a ball winder. Winding ribbon yarn is a pain in the rear.

OMGOSH I hated moving, I would much rather sell everything and buy new crap.
The ribbon yarn is very very very pretty. Good luck with the move! Make sure you flush the toilets and run the faucets and make sure you have hot water! Just saying because when I bought my house, some stuff was kinda not happening!

That yarn is soso pretty. I think I have some of that in purple, and it was a mess and a half to wind.

It may be a pain to wind up, but the texture of the garment is so beautiful! Your swatches show how great the final knit will be! Looking forward to seeing it!

Cute house. Hope the packing/moving goes smoothly. We moved back at the end of February, our 5th move in 6 years. You'd think we'd have the whole thing down by now, right? :0)

I love the house! I can't wait to see pictures of the inside. Are you moving far from where you are now? I am already dreading the move we will make next spring...I keep thinking "what is the point of putting this or that away,we will just be packing it in 10 months." the last few days before a move are such an odd mixture of dragging and flying by... did you hire movers or are you doing the grunt work?
