The Toof
And nothin but the toof...
Truth Number 1:
The Gilmore Girls this season? Questionable folks. And i am a HUGE GG fan. But this season? I'm just not so sure about. The show is under new *management* and I'm afraid it's not quite the same. Is it over between us? Perhaps - because I have a new TV show love in my life. Grey's Anatomy. I started watching this show on DVD and I have to tell you I'm hooked. HOOKED on it!
Truth Number 2:
Knitting and Crocheting and all things crafty have come to a screeching halt in my house. I have about 5 or 6 projects started, but none near finished.
Truth number 3:
I've been keeping something from you folks. The real reason that:
I haven't been knitting
I've been eating such crap
I stopped doing yoga
I'm not helping around the house
I'm crabby
I'm saving money
I'm not fitting in any of my clothes
Is that...
That's right - I know you all thought that the Lugs didn't participate in such tawdry activities but I am officially "Baby Momma" and I'm announcing it now. Most friends/family already knew, but I thought I'd wait a little bit to announce it to the blogosphere. A little lug should be joining us near the 1st of April. I'm out and I'm proud. Now I can finally blog about the joys of pregnancy and my fears of impending motherhood. But mostly I'll probably just keep blogging about how the Gilmore Girls is looking sucky this season and how I'm sad I can't go to Rhinebeck! Belly pictures and all that fun stuff to come soon...

I had a feeling that was what was coming!!! CONGRATS! Very exciting news.....and yes it's a shame about GG, but at least we have GA and Vmars!!!

What?!!! Congratulations! Can't wait to watch Baby Lug develop and all that. Totally a good excuse for the knitting to be minimal.

I knew it!!!!!! Congrats, and YAY for babies. It's been a baby boom in knit blog-land recently. So happy for you and the hubby.
And yeah, Gilmore Girls is lookin' kinda "meh" this season. The dialogue just seems so forced. Yucky. Thank the TV gods for GA.

A Baby Lug??? How wonderful! Congrats to you and Mr. Lug! Hmmm... what to knit for the Baby Lug? (Hey, someone's gotta knit for them!)
I'm not totally off the GG bandwagon yet... I keep hoping it'll get better. I know, I'm just a hopeless optimist.

Congrats on the Little Lug! That's fantastic news! Hip Hip Hooray!
I missed GG this week, but have it on DVR at home (visiting parents right now) so will have to see it when I get back.

Yay! Yay! Yay!
I am so excited for you, My babies making plans are on hold now do to working full time again so I will have to live vicariously through you.
Have you been buying baby clothes yet? I think I was a regular customer at baby gap the week I found out I was pregnant with Michael... hence the reason Michael had a closet full of pink onsies when he was born... try to hold off...unless you see something you just can't pass up. I remember buying this little denim cherry hat that I was so excited for "her" to wear. When we found out he was a boy that cherry hat was one of the first things I thought about.
Hmmmmmmm, I didin't realize how shallow that seemed until I typed it out.... once I came across a teeny pair of the cutest tennis shoes ever I made my peace with having a boy though...:)

For some reason it is important for me to make you aware I do know how to spell due... I don't know why my brain kicks in only after I have typed my post out.
I guess a delayed sort of education is better than none...

Okay, first of all? CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's so awesome, you must be so excited.
Second of all - GG is dead to me. I watched the first ep of the new season and ... I just can't watch the show slowly waste away like this. I hate EVERYTHING they're doing, down to Rory's stupid hair. I'm just done.

YAY! So exciting! Few tips - gain the weight and enjoy it - it's important for you to feel good as this life takes over your body, and if ice cream makes you feel good - then by all means! Indulge! There are some really stylish maternity clothes out there now so have fun shopping! You'll find the joys in expandable waistbands. Amazing when you start feeling the baby move - lay on your bed and watch your belly thump around... so awesome! Finally, childbirth - not all that scary, but def. take the drugs. I'll tell you a story about my drug, non-drug, drugs again fiasco! :) Drugs are good - you feel nothing and makes pushing way easier! :)
And seriously.... about 4 months post-pregnancy, you forget what it was like to be pregnant. As as your baby grows insanly fast and starts crawling, you'll start reminicing of being preggo again, and the cycle may begin again :)
(Not for me... yet) :)
Love you and best of luck to you and big-lug. So is Sexy Mary for Halloween going to be preggo mary this year? :)

Ugh. Babies. Whatevs.
Kidding. Congratulations! But don't give up on GG just yet. Last week was just a slight blib. The season opener was actually pretty good. We'll have to wait and see what the next few episodes bring us, but I was kind of hoping this would be the last season even before it got new management. It can't go on forever. Sniff.
