A Letter to Baby Lug

Dear Baby Lug,

This is your mother:

38weeks.jpg

I wanted to let you know that you can come out now. It is obvious that you are running out of room in there. There are wonderful things waiting for you like sunshine, headbanger's ball, watching your dad curse as he puts together nursery furniture, odd changes in the weather, and entertaining HDTV. I will bend the rule of no TV before age 2 if you will come out. I will bribe you. I will basically do whatever you want.

Yes I know it's 2 weeks before your due date, but honestly, I'm tired of working. I'd like to take a break now. I think that if you come out, though I will be tired, it'll be better than working. Yes. I am betting on that one.

Plus I'd like to meet you.

If you are worried about not having enough clothes to wear, let me set your mind at ease:

See, you have an asinine amount of clothing waiting for you. Plus three bouncy chairs, a crib, a bassinet, a play pen, and a variety of other entertaining items.

So, no pressure, but if you want to come out early, we're ready.

Sincerely,
Your mom

I'm sending "GET OUT OF THERE NOOOOOOOOOW" vibes to Baby Lug. I'm also sending you a package sometime this week.

Hang in there. You are a brave, brave lady.

Hi, Jen! Good luck with the delivery--may it be smooth, safe and speedy! I can't believe Baby Lug is almost ready to come into the world! Woo hoo!

Look at all of those cute cute clothes! I'm so glad Baby Lug is almost here!!! Hope he comes soon, or that the last two weeks go well for you!

Hot dogs. Supposedly it will start labor!

I am sending you labor vibes :) I did all the things you can do that start labor - but all it really took was my 39 week internal exam. Tell them to root around in there a little more. That's what did it for me. :)

Awwwww...that was so sweet!
Good luck!!! Best wishes to you and the whole Lug family.

aww...you look so CUTE! Sweet post, too...

Can't wait to see little Baby Lug!

I wish I could have worn a tank when I was eight months pregnant...
Come to think of it I wish I could wear a tank now...not pregnant

What a cute little pregnant person you are:)
I know it seems unthinkable but I bet you will miss little baby lug kicking around in there once he is out.
I don't know if it was hormones but I cried about it a few days after having Michael...those little movements and kicks are just so amazing...I still miss it... four year old little boy kicks due to tantrums are just not the same:)

Hang in there and may you have a safe and easy delivery! That Baby Lug will be here before you can say "where's my epidural?"

I am sorry, the letter to the little bean is cracking me up! I am 26 weeks, so long to go for me but I am starting to get the feeling that I might feel just about the same...
Congratulation's on the baby's safe arrival, though. This comment is a bit too late as I just found your blog, so to speak.
