I just wanted to say hello out there to blogland and those who may still be keeping an eye out for my posts. My strange sleep pattern has curtailed my ability to type witticisms for you. (In other words my brain is mush.)
Last weekend Simon had a friend come over:
That's our friend Shawn and Amy's baby Quinlan for whom I will be a Godmother. Such a cute little peanut.
I don't have much to report other than hot summer days. I spend most of the time working and missing Simon while he's in daycare. I am also on a mission (and you're wishin someone could cure your lonely condition, looking for love in all the wrong places, no fly girls, just ugly faces) to lose the last 10 lbs to bring me back to pre-baby weight, but without any will power or time for exercising, it seems like a losing battle.
All this is to just say hello and I hope you're all enjoying your summer!

Simon is so damned cute...and so is his little friend! I'm sure that lifting up a baby counts as exercise and that those ten pounds will melt off as a result :)

Ah, the last 10 pounds...I'm looking forward to shedding those, too. The injustice of it is that I have the time right now to work out and such while the kid is napping, but it's another 4 weeks or so until the doctor will clear me for such activities. So not fair. Instead, I eat ice cream as his napping, which I'm sure will help the situation. Simon is SO cute, not that we expect any less!
