Happy New Year!
A lengthy 2007 retrospective is called for here, but the year can pretty much be summed up by one thing:
Life became very baby-centric for Mr. Lug and I. I spent three gloriously tiring months on maternity leave, went back to work, and put Baby Lug in daycare. Weekends spent dining in fun restaurants with friends were replaced with Saturday trips to Target or Babies 'r Us to spend asinine amounts of money on baby items. I loved every minute of it. This little guy has been the best thing ever, and I feel like there wasn't a time before he was here, if that makes sense.
It was a really busy year: Three friends had babies; I worked a lot and got a promotion; Mr. Lug got a new job; we did a lot of work to the house...We even squeezed in some fun times!
2008 should be even busier with at least 4 weddings coming up and another friend with a baby on the way!
I have a few goals for this year (I like goals better than resolutions) and am willing to share these: blog more, knit more, and try to have real connections with people I care about more often.

What a beautiful little guy! I had mine July of last year, he did change my life forever. Just like you said, there is no life without the kid imaginable anymore. Enjoy every moment.
