What I've Been Up To

  • Taking a long weekend to go to my friend Mary and Todd's wedding as well as paint our hallway and foyer.
  • Inventing a dish at that wedding called pigamari. That's where you take pork from a roast pig and put it on your plate with calimari. It's delicious. Believe me.
  • Watching the first episode of The Tudors on demand. Jonathan Rhys Myers you've come a long way from Bend it Like Beckham. Man there's a lot of banging in that show. I also watched 300 on cable the other night. Those Spartans sure did work out a lot.
  • Researching a new car. I drive a Beetle right now and getting Baby Lug in and out of the back seat of that thing is ridiculous. It's like a clown car. So mom-sedan here I come. I thought about getting a crossover vehicle, but we already have one of those, and something tells me I'd feel like I was clubbing baby seals if I came home to two CUVs in the driveway.
  • Attending wedding showers. I have 5 weddings this year to go to (2 down so far) and at least one pregnant friend right now, so I think I see a lot of showers in my future.
  • Working. Lots of working. But that helps with that whole new car thing.
  • Chasing this guy around. He has the fuzziest head of hair ever and he's a few weeks away from walking, I'm pretty sure.

  • Switching my blog over to Wordpress. Well actually Mr. Lug is doing that for me, but I have to find a theme I like.
  • Eating tons of crap food and then declaring that I'm going to go on a diet, pretty much every week.

Love the hair! I think that might be what my munchkin's hair looks like when he gets older. As for now, it just stands straight up in all directions, no matter how long it gets! Baby Lug is SO cute!
