So the other day I couldn't delete any spam comments getting through the MT spam filter without the server crashing. I asked very tech-savvy Mr. Lug about this and he suggested to check how many spam comments were under the spam tab because that could hang up the server.

So as you can tell from the title of this post I had 66,700 spam posts. I had no idea that Celine DEON or Buy Soma Online loved me so much. I had spam filter settings to delte after 15 days, but after reading this article, I now know why that setting wasn't working.

Anyway - to get my blog to allow me to delete the comments I had to start deleting the comments in the junk tab and I inadvertently deleted all the comments on my blog since about mid-February. Frak. That sucks so much, but alas, there is nothing I can do about it, and being in a zen-like state of tiredness, I have accepted this situation. So let this be a warning to you MT users - if you don't delete the junk comments your blog can get all jacked up. Although you all are probably smarter than me, and actually don't have this issue.
