Drive By Posting

We are taking part in our local CSA Organic Farm again this year. We took a year off when we had the baby and here we are back again, except this time we got a delivered box share that we pick up near our house. This works out well for us since we probably would have a hard time getting the baby to tolerate the trips to pick.

If there's a CSA in your area, I'd recommend trying it. We end up with all kinds of organic veggies that we'd never normally buy, but end up eating. Of course, this leads to some confusion when I don't know what the heck to make with what we have. Fennel? Yeah...Not so sure what to do with it!

Also related to the heat...I feel like I just posted about the baby's first haircut, but he's quite a sweaty little guy, so the heat of the summer required another trip to the barber. Here's his "after" photo.

Don't mind my huge bib

And on a random note...Project Runway is back on. I love Project Runway, but I'm totally not ready for a new season yet. I didn't tune into the premier. I'm still hanging on to last season I guess...Oh Christian...

Michael's right, your son IS a big boy! Also, don't forget the internet when you get veggies you're not sure how to cook. There are gobs of recipes out there and I have found a few (for squash) I enjoyed trying.
